A little more about Cala des Moro
A small, intensely turquoise cove on Mallorca's southeast coast, reached by a steep footpath. Its unbuilt setting rewards careful visitors who arrive prepared and leave no trace.
What to expect
Cala des Moro is a tiny cove on the south-east coast of Mallorca, near Cala Llombards and Santanyí. Pine-covered cliffs surround intensely turquoise water. Because it is so small, it can feel crowded in summer.
Getting there
Park in the designated area near Cala Llombards and walk about 15 minutes down a rocky path to the cove. Wear proper shoes rather than flip-flops.
Good to know
There are no facilities, so bring water and food and take your rubbish away. Visit early in the morning or outside July and August for a calmer experience. Nearby Cala s'Almunia is also worth a look.
