YOUR NOA BEACH GUIDE
A little more about Grand Anse Beach
Grenada's signature beach combines a long curve of golden-white sand with calm water and easy access from St George's. It is scenic without feeling remote, with room for a full day by the sea.
What to expect
Grand Anse is Grenada's best-known beach, a three-kilometre curve of fine sand on the island's south-west coast. The water is usually calm and good for swimming, and the beach looks across the bay to St George's and the green hills behind. Hotels, beach bars and vendors are spread out along the shore.
Getting there
Maurice Bishop International Airport and St George's are both around 10 minutes away by car. Local minibuses run along the main road behind the beach and are cheap and frequent.
Good to know
All beaches in Grenada are public, so you can walk the full length. The Moliniere-Beauséjour Marine Protected Area, home to the Underwater Sculpture Park, is a short boat ride north.
